About the Role
Our client is a rapidly scaling tech startup specializing in AI-driven solutions, seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of groundbreaking software applications from the comfort of your own home. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying robust back-end services using Node.js and crafting dynamic, user-friendly interfaces with React. As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll have a significant impact on architectural decisions, code quality, and technical direction. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end services using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Build and optimize front-end applications using React, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Implement database solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and optimize query performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to code quality initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and influence technical strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js for back-end development.
- Proficiency with React for front-end development.
- Experience with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Solid understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
