Introduction An established and rapidly expanding transport and logistics brokering business based in Bellville, Cape Town is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Junior Financial Manager to join their team. We are seeking a diligent and motivated Junior Financial Manager to support the Finance Department in ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is ideal for a recently qualified professional who has completed SAICA (as AGA) or SAIPA articles and holds a degree in Finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, team coordination, compliance, and ledger management, but will not be involved in business analysis or financial reporting. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone eager to grow into a financial management position through exposure to core finance processes and strategic operations. Key Responsibilities Support the Head of Finance in managing the finance team and coordinating daily financial operations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts and ensure data integrity. Help manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support financial audits and coordinate with external auditors when necessary. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Assist in cash flow management and expense tracking to support operational decision‑making. Contribute to the improvement of compliance frameworks and internal control processes. Support the implementation of efficient financial systems and procedures. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Completed SAICA AGA or SAIPA articles and professional registration as SAIPA or AGA. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS for SMEs). Solid knowledge of general ledger functions, reconciliations, and basic financial controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar). Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative team mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Fluent in English and Xhosa. Salary Salary: R per month based on skills and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
