Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: - Grade 12 plus Qualified Millwright with completed apprenticeship
- Wiremans License (3 phase) preferred
- 3+ years experience in large electrical & mechanical installations
- Must have strong electrical background
- 3+ years experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation advantageous
- Strong MS Office ability
- Must be medically fit, comfortable with confined spaces and heights
- Must have valid drivers license, own vehicle and willing to travel long distances and sleep out when necessary
- Willing to work standby duties as required
- Ensure application and adherence to maintenance information systems and ensure all assets are marked and controlled
- Attend to breakdowns and prioritize jobs promptly
- Routine services, repairs and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment
- Apply sound HR principles to meet objectives
- Ensure safety & housekeeping as set out in OHS Act and comply with ISO systems, as well as continual improvement of systems
- Ensure stock levels are maintained
- Assist with sourcing, quality control of equipment as well as pricing, tendering and implementation on installations
