Support Engineer ICT - Service Delivery at Sibanye-Stillwater Minimum Qualifications CompTIA A+ – Essentials, CompTIA A+ – Practical Applications National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent Requirements Medically fit to work in the specific business area. Clear security screening record. Clear credit record. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport. Function according to the ITIL framework. At least 2 years’ experience in a related role. Key Responsibilities Auditing of computer equipment; tag new equipment to monitoring assets. Installation and support of network infrastructure and local printers. Effective prioritization of time in responding to service requests. Installation, set‑up and configuration of new desktops in line with required standards. Resolve user requests applying the required level of technical knowledge. Initial analysis/diagnosis of requests to ensure timely and effective support. Efficient first- and second-line IT service support in line with centrally defined SLA. Proactive approach to IT network infrastructure housekeeping (cabling, safety, power connections). On‑time replacement/repair of hardware, operating system and related software to ensure production continuity. Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to IT policies and procedures. Provide technical support, answering queries onsite, remotely or via phone/email. Constant monitoring of Sibanye IT infrastructure (networks, servers, desktops). Additional Requirements Effective communication with a broad base of end users. Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, server, PC, laptop and printer hardware. Very good understanding of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems and specifically Microsoft Active Directory. Through knowledge of all products used by Business Units and supported by IT. Understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
