Commercial Product Agronomy Specialist (Swartland and Western Boland) Apply to join Corteva Agriscience as a Commercial Product Agronomy Specialist in the Swartland and Western Boland region. About the Role You will own the commercial agronomy for Corteva’s CP and Biological Portfolio within your area, supporting growth of key crops and positioning Corteva’s integrated pest management solutions. Responsibilities Drive crop‑specific strategies aligned with Technical Marketing and regional planning. Implement field trials, sample collections and protocol designs, reporting and feedback at LPCT meetings. Capture data results in Agriculture Research Management Software (ARMS) and marketing repositories. Collaborate with Agents and Customer visits in partnership with Technical Sales Representatives. Prospect new trial sites and regional influencers. First point of contact for product efficacy and quality complaints; manage Salesforce reports. Support Portfolio leads on project development, including PNAV and NLPA decisions. Design, sign off and own demonstration trials in line with commercial, portfolio and R&D expectations. Colate and present trial data, and send results to customers and relevant departments. Facilitate communication between customers and the company, anticipating issues and proposing solutions. Submit timely reports of activities, visits, and flows to align with business strategy. Collaborate across departments to meet quality deadlines, share results, and drive teamwork. Support Stewardship initiatives to maintain freedom to operate for Corteva portfolio. Lead capacity‑building actions for the distribution system, end‑users and regional influencers. Deliver technical value‑added services to ensure sales and product performance. Identify agronomic opportunities with seed teams and coordinate Agronomist involvement in seed field days. Present technical information at regional customer and industry events when required. Key Stakeholders & Interactions Commercial Sales team and Area Sales Leads. Technical, Commercial Excellence and Portfolio leads. Channel partners to align technical and commercial priorities. Role requires extensive travel (50‑90% of working time) depending on season cadence. Location Swartland and Western Boland Qualifications Minimum 3 years of field trial experience. BSc in Agriculture or related degree preferred. Fluency in English and Afrikaans. Strong industry network and affiliations. Excellent verbal, training and presentation skills. BASOS and Crop Protection qualification (AVCASA or similar). Knowledge of equipment used for crops in the area (calibration of fertilizer spreaders, planters, sprayers). Code B driver’s licence.
