Introduction We require a Senior Application Developer (Microsoft .Net) and this is an office-based position in Cape Town. Translating user requirements into the design and development of customized applications in an agile environment. Develop and implement software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Design, code, test, debug, and deploy applications in accordance with project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Utilize best practices and design patterns to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications. Maintain and enhance existing applications by identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Document software architecture, design, and development processes. Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, requirements, and deliverables. Desired Experience & Qualification Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or related technical certification in an IT field. Minimum of 7 years' experience as an application developer working with: ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 & C# HTML and CSS Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures Proficient in source code management applications Package & Remuneration Market related salary per month.
