Global Operations – Business Analyst

Job Purpose The primary role of the Business Analyst is to bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Delivery Manager, the Project Managers and other key delivery team members to identify, design and implement suitable technical solutions. The Business Analyst will specialise in business process mapping, covering the current process and explaining the planned new process. Summary Strong communication skills are required to enable effective collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and documented. The Business Analyst will facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions, support project management by tracking progress and ensuring alignment with business objectives, play a key role in user acceptance testing, and document any changes agreed throughout the delivery process. Principal Accountabilities Evaluating business processes, documenting requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions. Change Request and requirements analysis and documentation. Create and validate documentation produced. Implementation and rollout support for business users. Creation of test cases in readiness to carry out and support user testing. Collaboration with Project Manager, data analysts and Infrastructure teams. As‑Is and To‑Be Mapping: Document current business processes (as‑is) and design future state processes (to‑be) to ensure current and future processes are fully explored, understood and catered for. Requirements Gathering: Collect detailed business requirements from stakeholders to ensure the items being delivered will meet the business needs. Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies to determine how they can enable business users to be more effective, productive or collaborative in their roles. Play an active role in understanding the existing application stack, especially the M suite, to support the recommendation of low‑code, no‑code solutions. Design and develop simple solutions in Power Apps based on business user requirements. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows. Adaptability: Be flexible and responsive to changing business needs and project requirements. Support the implementation of new processes and systems, including training and communication to encourage adoption. Understand application configurations and recommend simple modifications. Create visual representations of business processes to recommend areas for improvement. Apply analytical thinking to break down complex problems and develop effective solutions. Collaborate with wider business managers and departments to encourage ongoing engagement with Global Operations. Work closely with Project Managers and other technical team leads to achieve project objectives and maximise the value derived from available budgets. Ensure compliance with Data protection standards across our global offices. Requirements Experience in business and IT operations. Integrity and high professional ethics. Knowledge of data processing operations in the company's sector is preferable. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
