About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Manager to lead our financial operations. As a Financial Manager, you will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance and providing strategic guidance to senior management. Responsibilities
 Financial Planning : Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
 Budgeting and Forecasting : Create and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
 Financial Reporting : Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
 Strategic Insights : Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
 Cash Flow Management : Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds.
 Risk Management : Manage risk through insurance, hedging and other financial instruments, ensuring the company's financial stability.
 Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth.
 Financial Strategy : Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, driving the company's financial success.
 Financial Record Management : Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation
 Verify supporting documents for bank payments and authorize petty cash payments;
 Review monthly value-added tax returns;
 Review monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts with sub-ledgers and detailed listings;
 Participate in the preparation of various monthly financial management reports;
 Participate in the preparation of statutory financial statements;
 Coordinate and work with external auditors, tax officers, state bank staff, and other officials as necessary;
 Undertake business income tax calculation and filing;
 Perform reconciliation of tax balances with tax officers.

Requirements
 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
 ⁠SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certification.
 ⁠Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
 Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
 Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
 ⁠Experience in risk management and financial instruments.
 Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
 Having strong analytical skills and good business sense
 Possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism
 Being proactive, independent and able to work under pressure
 Good interpersonal and communication skills.
 Excellent command of English
