Job description responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and partitions to provide a smooth and level finish. This role involves mixing plaster, preparing surfaces, and ensuring that plaster is applied correctly for both aesthetic and functional purposes, including soundproofing, waterproofing, and providing structural integrity. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming areas to ensure proper adhesion of plaster. Mix plaster, including compound and adhesives, according to project specifications. Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring an even and smooth finish. Use hand tools such as trowels, spatulas, and brushes to apply and spread plaster. Smooth and level the surface, ensuring the plaster is set to the desired texture. Repair damaged plaster and patch holes or cracks in existing plaster surfaces. Work with other construction teams to ensure plastering is completed on schedule. Follow safety procedures when handling tools and materials and working at heights. Clean and maintain plastering equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
