Junior Business Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications and user stories.
• Create process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, and other visual aids to represent business processes.
• Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Assist in the testing and validation of solutions against business requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities.
• Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies (e.g., BABOK).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in creating process maps and documenting business requirements.
• Experience with business analysis tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business domains.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the George , Western Cape area for this on-site role.
