Your day at NTT DATA We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Consultant with mid-level expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring various aspects of SAP MDG and possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both support and DEVOPS environments. The SAP MDG Consultant will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and maintaining our master data governance solutions to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across our organization. What you'll be doing Responsibilities : 1. Configuration and Customization : Configure and customize SAP MDG solutions to align with business requirements, ensuring effective master data management across the organization. Design and implement data models, workflows, and validation rules to maintain data consistency and quality. 2. MDG Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for MDG implementation. Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. 3. Data Governance : Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Monitor data quality, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to improve overall data health. 4. Support and Maintenance : Provide ongoing support for MDG solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operations. Perform regular system updates, patches, and enhancements to optimize performance and functionality. 5. DEVOPS Integration : Work closely with DEVOPS teams to integrate SAP MDG solutions into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines. Collaborate on automation initiatives to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. 6. Documentation and Training : Create comprehensive technical documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and troubleshooting procedures. Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to empower end-users and fellow team members with MDG best practices. 7. Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementation, configuration, and customization. Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and master data concepts. Proficiency in SAP MDG modules (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Financial Objects) and related integration with other SAP modules. Experience with DEVOPS practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant SAP certifications would be a plus.
