Reference: NCM KMa-1A JSE listed organisation requires a highly proficient Branch Accountant CA(SA) based in Illovo to process account records and prepare monthly management accounts. We are looking for an innovative Degreed candidate with exceptional focus and drive, Sage/Accpac experience and advanced Excel capabilities. Responsibilities On‑time submission of monthly management accounts in accordance with the financial reporting calendar. Analysis of management accounts with explanations of all variances to branch budgets. Ensuring ledger accounts are properly analysed and supported by verifiable reconciliations and other schedules. Processing sundry invoices, services and recoveries not processed through the payroll system, inter‑branch and inter‑company recoveries. Preparation of journals with supporting schedules and reasons for the entries. Correct allocation of all transactions in the general ledger to the proper account number and branch. Raising accruals and provisions as required. Maintaining the fixed asset register on Sage. Reviewing trade creditor reconciliations for relevant branches. Providing detailed input into annual budgets and, where applicable, reforecasts. Preparing VAT reconciliations. Providing information to branch managers. Preparing information and reports for the Financial Director and other executive management. Preparing information for B‑BBEE scorecard submissions. Ensuring inter‑company accounts are balanced. Conducting internal audit and other verification processes as required. Preparation for the annual audit, completing audit packs and analytical reviews of expense items. Providing auditors with supporting information and documentation as required. Record administration: filing, uploading and retaining documents for audit and statutory requirements. Maintaining good housekeeping of financial records. Processing inter‑branch and inter‑company transactions. Ensuring system-generated information for interface into Sage is correct. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance/Accounting. Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant financial reporting experience. Minimum of three (3) years’ articles experience at an audit firm. Four (4) years’ relevant accounting experience preparing management accounts. Proficiency in MS Excel (non‑negotiable). Experience with Sage/Accpac. Ability to work after hours when required to meet reporting deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
