Graphic Designer Designation : Officer Organization : Carbon Black Job Description: Job Purpose The Corporate Communications role at Birla Carbon focuses on developing, implementing, and executing communication and reputation strategies for corporate, business (marketing & sales), manufacturing, and technology functions to build and manage the organization’s reputation with internal and external stakeholders. This role aims at enhancing the design experience of Birla Carbon with its internal and external stakeholders contributing to the overall experience with the brand. The incumbent will need to be an expert in designing and use of design softwares to create material for use by Birla Carbon. The role will provide consistency in the presentation of designs, templates and other visual communication material. Job Context The Corporate Communications function has been actively engaged in communication, media, and reputation related initiatives for the last 8 years. While the function has been lean in the number of team members, the role of Corporate Communications has expanded to support many functions and regions in the business. One of the key and high-expense requirements is the creation of design and graphic material for use in presentations, social media, websites, emailers, and newsletters. This high visual impact role has the potential to attract and retain readers and users of communication tools. The proposed role will support multiple initiatives in the Communication space covering the requirement of all internal communication design requirements as well as some external facing design requirements. The support will be extended to Human Resources, HSE, Quality and other internal communication initiatives for the company. Challenges In a post-pandemic era, the cost of engaging communication agencies to create design and graphic material is expensive and limiting in terms of creativity available. This role will reduce dependence on external agencies for graphic requirements. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 1.Identify the design needs for the business •Work closely with the department head to build a design and graphic addressing strategy •This would include clarity on design of logos, templates, advertisements, exhibition panels, emailers and posters KRA2 2.Designing for all Communication initiatives (internal and external) •Work closely with the Communications team for all design requirements KRA3 3.Designing for Human Resources initiatives •Work closely with HR to address internal emailers and other project-related design requirements KRA4 4.Designing for special projects •Support special internal and external projects with design expertise KRA5 5.Designing for social media / external requirements •Design of creatives for social media communications based on various projects Discover more about life at Aditya Birla Group #J-18808-Ljbffr
