Solution Architect – Government & Public Services – Senior Manager Company Description TLT Appointing provides recruitment services via specialist consultants in Finance, HR, IT & Telecommunications, Financial Services, Engineering, FMCG & Retail, Consulting & Professional Services, Public Sector, and Executive Search. Job Description Proactively scope Huawei technical solutions to address customer requirements and recommend solutions that optimise value for both the customer and the company. You will secure input from solution stakeholders, adapt solutions as necessary, coordinate closely with Sales, Operations and Service resources, secure commitments from customer technical staff, conduct site visits and surveys, engineer and document solution designs, and produce technical papers, case studies, reviews and product comparisons. Responsibilities Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the business and customer firm. Adapt solutions as necessary to ensure appropriate support. Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations and Service resources to align the solution design with the customer's business requirements. Secure commitments from customer technical staff needed to ensure a deal's "technical close". Conduct site visits and surveys, engineer, and document solution designs. Write technical papers, case studies, technical reviews, and product comparisons. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) NDip in Telecommunications and/or Information Technology / Computer Science. Advanced Certifications in Huawei Data Communication, Optical, Enterprise Services and Software technologies, skilled in various disciplines that support innovative thinking in architecting critical industrial operational communication solutions. Preferred Qualifications B.Tech / Degree in Telecommunications / Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering. Experience Required 5-10 years of industrial operational technologies networking experience in the OT environment. Knowledge and background in Mining, Oil & Gas, and Port verticals. 2-5 years of project experience. 2-5 years in a team lead position, guiding and assisting with installations and commissioning of industrial connectivity networks. 5-10 years of experience in Telecommunications and/or Operational, Information Technology / Microsoft Office 365 / Connectivity environments.
