Financial Director

My client, a leader in the Industry is seeking a Financial Director CA(SA) to join their growing business. If you are data savvy with Power BI this will count in your favour.

Responsibilities:

• All Financial activities of my clients ' brands and associated entities
• Finance department staff, including one Financialmanager and currently 3 staff members
• Forecasting of all financial aspects for the business to support strategic decisions and direction
• Detailed data analytics to assist with detailed forecasting and measuring of business KPI's.
• Compliance to all business related statutory requirements
• All Procurement functions, supplier contracts terms and conditions
• Financial planning
• Pricing model
• Tax
• Cash flow
• Inventory management
• Stock ordering processes, tracking and measurement of all elements from PO to delivery
• Supplier contracts and Performance
• Customer credit agreements
• Cash flow forecasting
• Hedging of foreign currency
• Relationship with Banks
• Budgets and Cost controlling
• Special projects
• Oversee and review the following (under Finance manager responsibilities):
• Preparation of annual budgets and business forecasts as required (EBITDA, Cash Flow and Working Capital)
• Annual statutory audit process and ensure AFS are signed within 4months of year end, by 30 June each year.
• Implement effective and relevant KPI's for finance team
• Preparation of quarterly financial information for banks (both Opco and Holdco)
• Internalcontrols and procedures
• Design and monitoring of internal company policies
• Monthly management accounts
• Monthly payroll
• Stock control, regular PSI counts and activities to improve stock accuracy
• Authorisation, review and approval of all expense and supplier payments (local and foreign)
• Monthly review of VAT & PAYE submissions to SARS within required deadlines
• Monthly workday2 Flash results
• Daily and monthly cash management
• Implement Stock control model and procedures to drive cost savings
• Annual BEE audits, FSC audits
• IT activities and service contracts
• Drive cost reductions in business (frequent review of costs from clearing agents and suppliers)
• Debtorscollection and ageing
• QuarterlyFinancial information for Banks
• Creditors and on time payments
• Internal controls for all payments

Requirements:

• CA(SA) with at least 8 years post Articles experience in the Commercial Sector
• Power BI / Data Analytics
• Stock management
