About the Role We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead content creation, distribution, and community engagement across multiple social platforms. This is a high‑priority hire to support rapid growth. This is a fully remote, full‑time role (40 hours/week), ideally aligned with Latin American time zones, with strong preference for candidates in Brazil or South Africa. Key Responsibilities Build, manage, and maintain a comprehensive content calendar across all key channels. Create and distribute content across Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Share user‑generated content and highlight community creations to foster engagement. Actively engage with the community across social platforms, respond to comments, encourage conversation, and build authentic relationships with followers. Ensure consistent posting and interaction to maintain platform activity and momentum. Test and explore new social channels to expand audience reach. Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify opportunities for content innovation. Analyze performance and iterate to increase engagement and follower growth. Skills & Requirements Strong proficiency with social media management tools and native platform analytics. Hands‑on experience creating and distributing content across Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and similar platforms. Familiarity with open‑source AI, generative art tools, or creative software is a strong plus. Basic content creation skills, including writing, editing, and simple graphic design. Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities. High adaptability and creativity in social storytelling and content strategies. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Genuine enthusiasm for community building, engagement, and the open‑source AI space. Bonus Points Experience working in AI, tech, creative tools, or open‑source communities.
