Let’s see what it takes What you will do: Edit weekly 10–15 min YouTube videos (faceless “job leads” and reaction/commentary formats) Use modern editing styles inspired by creators like Ali Abdaal, Chloe Monaco, and Tiffany Ferguson Design clickable thumbnails consistent with Paybump’s brand Add B-roll, captions, and visuals to boost engagement and retention Source royalty-free music and stock footage as needed Maintain visual consistency across all videos Track key metrics (CTR, retention, subscriber growth) to refine editing Deliver final videos within 24 hours of receiving raw footage Securely work with customers’ sensitive information What you need to succeed in this role: Excellent English skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written) At least 2 years of experience editing YouTube content for established creators or media brands Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Experience creating thumbnails using Canva or Photoshop Solid understanding of YouTube analytics Proven ability to deliver high-quality edits under tight deadlines Excellent communication and time-management skills A creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics Positive and responsible attitude Personal laptop or computer (at least 8Gb of RAM) and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps–download and 40 Mbps–upload) Benefits and Perks: Fixed schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5pm – 10pm South Africa time Part-time opportunity (20 hrs per week) Opportunity to work fully remotely Inclusive international environment Compensation in USD Good bonuses for referring friends Paid intensive training and probation Work-life balance Responsive management interested in your growth and long-lasting cooperation Greenhouse conditions for self-development *The items listed in this section may vary depending on the terms of your engagement.
