Role Description This is a full-time Senior Marine Surveyor role for MARiTECH Commercial, LLC in Saldanha Bay. The Marine Surveyor will be responsible for conducting inspections, marine surveys, and overseeing vessel operations. Responsibilities Conduct inspections, marine surveys, and oversee vessel operations On/Off hire bunker and condition surveys Bunker quantity surveys 221b surveys Crane inspections Draft surveys Cleanliness inspections Advisory inspections Damage and injury surveys & reporting Apply knowledge of naval architecture principles Qualifications Degree or advanced diploma in marine and cargo surveying, or 7 years experience with valid references Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must be willing to travel between harbours for surveys when necessary Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle Any additional qualifications are welcomed Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Maritime Transportation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at MARiTECH Commercial by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
