Our client, a highly regarded Audit and Accounting firm, is searching for an Assistant Tax Administrator to support their specialist tax department in Century City, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior professional to gain hands‑on experience in a structured, professional environment. Key Role Details Position: Assistant Tax Administrator Location: Century City, Cape Town Work Style: Full‑Time, On‑Site Salary: Market‑Related CTC Package (Commensurate with junior experience) Start Date: ASAP What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation, collation, and submission of various tax returns (e.g., Provisional Tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE) for individuals and companies. Administrative Management: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client tax files, ensuring all required documentation is collected and organized efficiently. SARS Correspondence: Assist in managing routine correspondence with SARS, including checking tax directives, handling assessment queries, and tracking submission deadlines. Data & System Input: Accurately capture financial and tax data into specialized tax software and internal systems. Client Communication: Facilitate basic communication with clients to request outstanding documents and confirm submission details.
