What you’ll do Play a pivotal role in managing the client’s treasury front office activities. Analyse, coordinate, and execute specialist treasury services for various business units, including cash management, liquidity risk, foreign exchange risk, deal execution, and counterparty risk. Manage key relationships with strategic corporate staff such as finance directors and senior finance managers. Deliver expert treasury input to group finance division projects such as tax, corporate finance, and financial reporting. Provide specialist advice on suitable investment strategies and external asset managers for rehabilitation liabilities. Negotiate and implement multiple types of external financing transactions for corporate and business units. Maintain complex quantitative models analysing treasury risks and support risk management decisions. What you bring Knowledge of South African and international financial markets. Specialist treasury management knowledge of interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity and derivatives markets, and their risks. Understanding of treasury risk management principles. Proven post‑qualification experience within the treasury space. Postgraduate qualification such as CA, CFA or MBA is preferable.
