About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing Fin Tech company in Welkom , is looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to enhance their core platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications and APIs that handle complex financial transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with modern technologies, contribute to critical business logic, and collaborate with a talented team in a dynamic industry. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using languages like Java or Python. Develop and manage robust RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption. Implement data storage solutions, including relational databases and No SQL stores, ensuring data integrity and performance. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software features. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development. Strong command of a major backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and associated frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django,. NET Core). Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server , Postgre SQL, or Mongo DB. Experience with message queues (e.g., Rabbit MQ, Kafka) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) is a plus.
