We are looking for a digital multimedia designer who enjoys generating innovative ideas, possesses a strong ability to craft those ideas into fresh, contemporary designs suited primarily to the digital arena, as well as full‑through‑the‑line campaigns. The successful applicant will be involved in creating and executing effective design campaigns across multiple platforms for all target markets, including internal, consumer, and dealer audiences, within tight deadlines. You need to be self‑motivated, thrive under pressure, have a keen eye for detail, and have the ability to multitask, while actively embracing our core business philosophy. Responsibilities Multimedia Design To conceptualise and craft fresh art direction for all target markets in the business, including internal, consumer and dealer markets Be the custodian of the brand guidelines Interpret creative briefs and be able to develop a suitable concept and art direction Liaise with internal teams and agencies to ensure continuity of delivery within agreed time frames Understanding of current design trends, including digital (web, mobile, e‑mail) and social media design Understand brand personability and translate the brand message accordingly Develop, enhance and execute a cohesive creative strategy toward the business goals of the business Strong ability to design for web, mobile and social media Strong ability to creatively edit film footage and create bespoke After Effects Strong ability to edit audio and apply sound effects Experienced in the application and customisation of video templates Experience in utilising AI features to improve ideation/design turnaround Ability to assist with user interface designs Internal To conceptualise and prepare designs for all internal communication within the business Conceptualise & design electronic mailers Create innovative videos using Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve to support campaigns Design internal communication for new processes and changes in the business Design & assist with executing communication for internal fun days Conceptualise & design the company CI and logos, and create the supporting corporate stationery Execute briefs from all corners of the business, including sales, HR, marketing, etc. Dealer To conceptualise and prepare designs for all dealer communication within the business Conceptualise and design unique ideas for all sales collateral across all brands Liaise with and prepare correct print files for printers as per spec Design infographics, mailers, monthly statistics, folders, sales packs, rate cards, detailers, etc., to support the sales teams and dealer communication Design digital invites for various events Create innovative videos using Adobe Creative Cloud / DaVinci Resolve Consumer Create online display advertising campaigns by designing creative elements that promote our brand across various online platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile. Google Web Designer experience is beneficial. Craft and edit videos that promote our brand at various shows and events Design billboards to support above‑line campaigns Design elements for our social media platforms Ability to design event support assets, e.g. stand design, wobblers, lightbox stand artwork, digital screen videos, point of sales Knowledge Excellent working knowledge of the following programmes: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Google Web Designer Skills Ability to multitask and be a creative and out‑of‑the‑box thinker Work under pressure to meet deadlines Articulate with good command of the English language, as well as excellent written communication skills MS Office / Slack / Zoom Excellent understanding of the digital marketing environment and Social Media Attitude Conceptual Deadline driven Organised Pro‑active Self‑motivated Walk the extra mile Team player The ability to be discreet Special Requirements Ability to cope with a fast‑paced environment Occasional work late hours on deadlines when required About AutoTrader We are committed to creating a trusted, safe and transparent vehicle e‑commerce marketplace that empowers, enables and improves the lifestyles of those we connect while taking the Road Less Traveled.
