Lead global direct tax compliance, partner with advisors, drive tax strategy, and mentor a team in a fast‑paced, fully remote environment. What you bring International direct taxation experience in a multinational corporate or consulting environment. Strong understanding of global corporate tax rules, tax treaties, and EU Directives. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams. Analytical skillset to interpret complex data sets and provide insights. Fluent in English; additional languages a plus. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder communication skills. Startup or fintech experience a plus. Key Responsibilities Oversee global direct tax compliance and ensure timely filing of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other direct tax returns. Partner with external tax advisors to support filings and reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions. Identify, monitor, and address potential tax risks and propose actionable solutions. Assist in managing audits and inspections, liaising with tax authorities to resolve issues efficiently. Provide strategic tax guidance on cross‑border transactions, corporate structuring, and tax‑efficient planning aligned with business objectives. Keep up‑to‑date with changes in global tax laws and proactively adapt processes and strategies. Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals, supporting their development and day‑to‑day execution. Work closely with finance, legal, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless tax compliance and reporting. Team & Location Report to: Head of Direct Tax Compliance. Team: Finance – Tax.
