Job Description Firewater is looking for a webmaster/ WordPress Developer extraordinaire that has a keen eye for detail and a love for digital technologies. We are looking for someone who uses the internet for something other than drunken photos, relentless hashtags and trolling. If you are excited by digital marketing and the endless possibilities and dream about the perfect IA and UX, read on : Job Responsibilities Being an oracle for website technical scoping and planning Implementation of websites including e-commerce and landing page builds (Primarily WordPress, HTML, PHP, CSS, JS) Website maintenance & upgrades Website and newsletter content publication Debugging, bug fixing, QA and reporting Onsite SEO optimisation Website deployment Client training on CMS & EDM platforms Experience in / Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, PHP, Git etc. sFTP/FTP, cPanel, WHM, Plesk, and/or other hosting control panel Writing and modifying WordPress custom themes, plugins, and functions MySQL & SQL databases Visual Studio and other IDEs Linux & Cloud Computing Various content management systems Working with ticketing/helpdesk systems Adobe Photoshop (basics) or equivalent image editor Dodging and throwing of paper wads, frisbees and tantrums Use of social media platforms, including management and reporting tools SEO software (SEMrush, Ahrefs, GTMetrics, Google Suite of products and others) Logging of times Job Requirements Logical approach to projects & tasks Understanding of website architecture and content placement Extreme keen eye for detail and aesthetics, down to the last pixel Excellent grammar and spelling (English) Sound communication skills Team player Driven and motivated to complete work at all costs Disciplined with time management and recording If you have what it takes – step up to the plate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
