Business Intelligence Analyst-1

Business Intelligence Analyst-1 (D Band) Job Description To extract data from various sources, understand business requirements and analyse data in order to provide relevant insights for business decisioning, under guidance and supervision. Are You Someone Who Can Translate business needs into data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Monitor data quality and integrity across systems and reports. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets. Support operational teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting. Document processes, data definitions, and reporting standards. Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols. You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have A degree or diploma in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar role. Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (advantageous). Knowledge of financial services, fraud analyses/detection or compliance environments (preferred). Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
