Junior Caster (0-1 year of experience): R8,000 - R12,000 per month.

- Experienced Caster (1-3 years of experience): R12,000 - R18,000 per month.

- Senior Caster (3+ years of experience): R18,000 - R25,000 per month.

Job Summary:

Cast molten metal into desired shapes and forms, ensuring high-quality products while maintaining a safe working environment.

Our client in the Renewable Industry sector is seeking a talented and experienced CASTER.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Mold Preparation*: Prepare molds for casting, including cleaning, lubricating, and assembling.

2. *Melting and Pouring*: Melt metal alloys and pour them into prepared molds.

3. *Casting*: Cast molten metal into desired shapes and forms, ensuring accurate dimensions and quality.

4. *Finishing*: Remove castings from molds, trim excess material, and perform finishing operations (e.g., grinding, sanding).

5. *Quality Control*: Inspect castings for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.

6. *Maintenance*: Perform routine maintenance on casting equipment and molds.

7. *Safety*: Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. *Qualifications*: Relevant experience or training in casting, metallurgy, or a related field.

2. *Experience*: 1-2 years of experience in casting or a related field.

3. *Knowledge*: Understanding of casting processes, metallurgy, and safety procedures.

4. *Skills*: Ability to work with molten metal, operate casting equipment, and perform finishing operations.

5. *Physical Ability*: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods.

6. *Must be in possession of a Valid Passport and be prepared to travel to Germany for further training in line with the project.

Working Conditions:

1. *Work Environment*: Foundry, casting facility, or manufacturing plant.

2. *Physical Demands*: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to heat, noise, and dust.

3. *Safety Equipment*: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, and a face mask.
