Inviting applications for the role of FC & Tax - Manager English - On site Johannesburg Responsibilities Perform finance activities. Liaise with various teams to ensure accurate solution. Collaborate with team to streamline processes and remove NVAs (Non value adds) from process. Mentor and train new hires in the process. Review GL schedules and journal entries in the ERP system. Manage COE (Centre of excellence). Review audit schedules, handle audit queries and manage audit timelines (Internal and external). Ensure SOX Controls related to the process are implemented and adhered to. Perform Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Variance Analysis. Handle queries from various partners. Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure quality in process. Ensure maintenance of BS open items. Ensure completion of reconciliations in line with stipulated timelines. Complete month end activities and manage the overall process. Adhere to all compliance requirements. Complete mandatory training in line with stipulated timelines. Ensure trainings are completed for team. Complete and review admin related tasks for tracking purposes (examples: MOJO MJE tracker etc). Lead the team to ensure excellence. Coach, develop and mentor team. Standardize and align processes. Ensure process efficiencies. Handle other ad-hoc requests as required. Core Competencies Management skills Proficient with general accounting closing and reporting.
