A prominent accounting firm in the beautiful town of Knysna, Western Cape, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join their dynamic team. Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Must be a registered CA (SA) with SAICA.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, preferably within a firm environment.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Must be willing to relocate to or currently reside in Knysna or surrounding areas

 

Duties:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts.
  • Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Taxation: Manage and oversee tax compliance and planning activities.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice on financial matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
