The company currently requires the services of a Financial Manager to oversee the financial functions of the group of companies.

Specific duties include:

  • Provide strategic input related to finance activities
  • Financial management of the organisations, including creditors, debtors and management accounts
  • Lead and manage finance team
  • Statutory returns and compliance
  • Risk management
  • Financial advice to management on cashflow and cash movements
  • Oversee group’s fiscal activity, including treasury, budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and legislation
  • Review and improve internal financial controls
  • Year-end audit file preparation
  • Oversee payroll function and leave processing

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-graduate qualification in Accounting
  • Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA)
  • Approximately 10 years post articles experience
  • Relevant experience in the agricultural / table grape industry will be advantageous
  • Commercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
