Key Responsibilities:Assist with financial month-end closure for CFO review and approval.Assist CFO in the implementation of the financial SOPs and policies.Ensure adherence to financial SOPs and policies.Review payments timely for CFO approval.Review monthly creditors reconciliations for CFO approval.Review daily bank reconciliations for CFO approval.Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations for CFO review and approval.Oversee financial internal control processes at the entity and drive this among the group.Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries efficientlyLiaise with external auditors and be the financial audit champion.Assist with daily banking if required.Saturday banking when required on a rotation basis.Assistance with BEE admin and audit tasks.Ad hoc invoicing when required.Inter-group invoicing.Staff management.Requirements:Completed Bcom degree in Accounting.3 â 5 yearsâ experience.Completed SAIPA articles/registration advantageous however not essential.Previous financial banking experience essential.Deadline driven.Attention to detail.Able to work independently and part of a team when required.Pastel experience.MS office experience.Able to multitask.Good planning skills.Quick learner.Good communication skills.Previous experience in a group company structure advantageous.
