Requirements:
1. BSc (Eng) or B Eng degree in Electrical Engineering with an active ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer. 2. Minimum 10 years relevant multi-disciplinary project design experience, especially in the Power Generation Industry, of which a minimum 5 years’ experience in specifically the design of PV Systems. 3. Working knowledge of Environmental Legislation, the OHS Act and Regulations, SANS & IEC codes, Safety Management Standards, ISO 9001 and the South African Grid Code. 4. Experience in tender compilations (including tender SOW), and project cost estimations (including BOQs) is needed. 5. Proficiency in DigSilent or ETAP (or any other power system analysis software). 5. Experience in the design of LV & MV MCCs and industrial plant reticulation will be highly beneficial. 6. Experience in the design of DC plant and battery systems, renewable energy systems and 'earthing and lighting' protection systems will by highly beneficial. 7. Experience in the specification of industrial plant electrical systems, switchgear and electrical motor protection will be highly beneficial. Permanent Role. Salary Negotiable.
