This is a portfolio management role-where you'll take full ownership of client accounts from start to finish-rather than just processing transactions.What you'll be doing:Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are metPreparing monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting packsHandling VAT, payroll, and compliance submissions in collaboration with the tax teamPreparing year-end working papers and supporting audits/independent reviewsWorking with cloud-based systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)Engaging directly with clients, handling queries, and improving processesWhat we're looking for:Completed SAIPA or SAICA articlesPractical experience in client accounting (mid-tier/smaller firm background advantageous)Solid understanding of IFRS for SMEs and tax-related processes (VAT, payroll, corporate tax)Comfortable with cloud accounting systems and Excel/Google SheetsSomeone proactive, detail-driven, and confident managing their own portfolioWhat's in it for you?A hybrid, flexible working model in a culture that values outcomes over clock-watchingDirect exposure to international clients and cutting-edge cloud accounting toolsCareer progression based on client complexity and responsibility, not just time servedA collaborative and supportive team that encourages learning and growthIf you don't hear back from us within 2 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
