Our client is on the hunt for an Insure Adviser who will manage a portfolio of clients, handling both commercial and personal underwriting and ensuring seamless policy management.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Provide regular feedback and address client queries.
  • Underwrite and manage policy renewals.
  • Handle new policy applications and quotations.
  • Schedule on-site client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records in the MyPractice system.
  • Manage administrative documentation to ensure FAIS compliance.
  • Record client details and interactions in relevant systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Adhere to service level agreement deadlines.
  • Act as a liaison between the office and insurance companies.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with insurers.
  • Generate reports and manage client retention.
  • Understand policy wording and various insurance products.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • NQF Level 4 Full Short-Term Insurance Qualification.
  • Successful completion of the Regulatory Examination (RE5) for Representatives.
  • DOFA confirmation from FSCA.
  • Fit and proper product-specific training.
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience in short-term insurance.
  • At least 4 years of personal underwriting experience.
  • At least 4 years of commercial underwriting experience.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Own transport and a valid driver's license.
