Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage database systems that meet the specialized needs of our users,
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and manage database performance, optimizing for speed and efficiency
  • Design and implement strategies for database backup, archiving, and recovery to prevent data loss
  • Respond to and manage database incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss
  • Work closely with data architects and IT specialists to set up, maintain, and monitor data networks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot database issues effectively
  • Understanding of business information systems and their integration with database management.

General:

  • Office based
  • General work hours of 08:00 16:30
  • Hours outside the normal work week may be necessary depending on project schedule
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites when required
