About the Role
Our client is looking for creative and aspiring individuals to join their team as a remote Apprentice Graphic Designer , supporting their initiatives in Soweto . This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to hone your design skills and gain practical experience in a professional setting, working entirely from home. You will assist in creating visually appealing assets for various marketing and communication needs, collaborating with a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing marketing materials, social media graphics, and website assets.
- Learn to use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Develop basic layouts and concepts for new design projects.
- Incorporate feedback from senior designers and marketing team members.
- Ensure brand consistency across all designed materials.
- Organize and manage design files efficiently.
Requirements
- A strong passion for graphic design and visual arts.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, with a good eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Basic understanding of design principles (layout, color theory, typography).
- Familiarity with graphic design software is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
