About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Installation Technician to join their dynamic team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance for the installation of various systems and equipment, all managed from your home office. You will collaborate with field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for an independent, proactive individual who excels in a remote work environment and possesses a strong aptitude for problem-solving and clear communication, contributing to the successful implementation of client solutions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote, step-by-step guidance and technical support during equipment and system installations.
- Troubleshoot installation issues via phone, video conferencing, and remote access tools.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive installation guides and troubleshooting documentation.
- Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to ensure adherence to installation schedules and standards.
- Conduct remote quality checks and follow-up assessments post-installation to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and support teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software installation problems remotely.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and common IT infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote-first setting.
- Technical certifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field are advantageous.
