Operations

Accountable for own work within defined operating procedures, standards and work routines.

Job Purpose :To ensure final and simple syrup is mixed according to specifications and procedures

Key Accountabilities and Outputs

Simple Syrup Mixing

Syrup Room Filter Change out Rinsing of tanks using CIP matrix Syrup tank quantity levelling Preventing production from standing without syrup Sieve strainer inspections Offloading, stacking of sugar and the disposal of empty bags Recording of additional sugar Throwing sugar into syrup tanks

Final Syrup Mixing

The making of syrup The weighing of raw materials Simple Syrup making Mixing tank operations Hygiene checklist Hygiene checklist CIP Matrix Rinsing and CIP of tanks Syrup Room Filter Changeout Syrup tank quantity levelling Control drink preparation Sieve strainer inspections Offloading, stacking of sugar and the disposal of empty bags Preventing production from standing without syrup Recording of additional sugar Production planner Throwing sugar into syrup tanks Dissolving of citric acid

General cleaning and good housekeeping Ensure Health & Food Safety requirements are adhered to

Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards Ensure adherence to site safety standards as head of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation Ensure adherence to site safety standards and critical member of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee in line with the OSH Act. Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation and support a safe environment for the Company's Employees, Contractors and Visitors. Comply with all Food Safety Standards Receive training on / and adhere to the Hygiene Code of Conduct. Maintain GMP standards within the workplace Maintain a good standard of Personal Hygiene

General

Responsible to ensure housekeeping is performed and ensure that all products and activities are stored and are executed within the demarcated areas according to the housekeeping policy (green red and yellow areas) Conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes and procedures Maintains expected performance standards While Job Descriptions are written up for the purpose of a basic outline of the work and responsibilities associated with the Job, the Company encourages and expects all employees from time to time, to assist with work that may not be a direct part of their job description.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential)

Upto 1 years experience (Operational Execution) FMCG; Bottling Equipment
