About the Role

Our client, a world-renowned astronomical research observatory, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Astrophysicist to join their esteemed team in the scenic region of Paarl, Western Cape . This role is critical for advancing our understanding of the universe through observational and theoretical research. The Senior Astrophysicist will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, analyzing astronomical data from advanced telescopes, developing theoretical models, and publishing findings in leading scientific journals. Expertise in areas such as cosmology, galaxy formation, stellar evolution, or exoplanetary science is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.
D. in Astrophysics or a related field, coupled with a strong publication record and experience in data analysis and computational astrophysics.
