About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and visionary Lead Blockchain Engineer to spearhead their blockchain initiatives from their base in Welkom. This leadership role demands a deep understanding of blockchain technology, coupled with strong architectural and team management skills. You will guide the technical direction, mentor a team of talented engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of complex blockchain projects. This is a crucial position for driving innovation in the crypto and blockchain space and establishing best practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure blockchain solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of blockchain engineers.
- Architect robust blockchain systems, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure.
- Oversee the development of smart contracts, dApps, and other decentralized components.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes for blockchain development.
- Collaborate with product teams to define roadmaps and technical strategies for blockchain products.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in blockchain engineering, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- Deep expertise in blockchain protocols, smart contract development, and distributed ledger technologies.
- Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Go, Rust, JavaScript).
- Experience with blockchain frameworks and tools (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Web3.js).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams effectively.
