Motor Assembler - Johannesburg

This assembly function requires a suitably trained person to carry out functions from basic fitment to complex assembly procedures, which require the use of sophisticated tooling, measurement equipment and assembly machinery.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 Certificate (completed).
  • Proven understanding of assembly processes, technical documents and the proper utilisation of tooling equipment and machinery. A technical qualification is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of statutory and compliance rules and procedures, applicable to a workshop and assembly function.
  • A clear understanding of the Quality Management System and how it impacts the assembly function.
  • Assembly of electric motors including brake motors, mechanical variable speed geared motors.
  • Ability to read workshop orders, picking tickets & assembly instructions.
  • Ability to use simple measurement equipment including verniers.
