About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting for a proactive Remote Industrial Optimization Engineer to join their globally distributed operations team. This role is dedicated to analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing industrial processes and systems to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity, all from a remote location. You will leverage data analytics, simulation tools, and your engineering expertise to drive impactful improvements across various business functions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of industrial processes, identifying key performance drivers and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies using lean, Six Sigma, and simulation methodologies.
- Create detailed models and simulations to test and validate proposed process changes.
- Collaborate virtually with operational teams and stakeholders worldwide to implement and monitor improvements.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate results.
- Provide technical guidance and support for continuous improvement initiatives remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or process optimization.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive results independently in a remote setting.
