iMas Insurance Brokers, an authorized financial services provider offering financing and insurance solutions, invites applications for or our Long-Term Insurance (Life) Learnership Programme.
This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals from previously disadvantaged and designated groups who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry.
Programme Benefits:
- Practical experience in Sales and/or Administration within Long-Term Insurance.
- Structured theoretical training, combined with on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
- A 12-month fixed-term contract with a monthly allowance of R6,000
- Attain an Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) upon successful completion
Key Learnership Outcomes:
- Learners will gain exposure to, among others:
- Conducting basic research and applying literacy/numeracy skills in insurance risk assessment.
- Managing personal finances and understanding financial risk.
- Applying legislative, ethical, and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment.
- Applying legislative, ethical and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting.
- Currently not employed.
- Not registered for any other studies, learnership, internship or YES Programme.
- Available to start the learnership immediately.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Integrity, self-motivation, and time management skills.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Selling and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to high standards of quality
- Preference is given to candidates from the designated groups and candidates with disabilities.
