Transport & Logistics Industry We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Transport Administrator / Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the transport operation, ensuring that paperwork is accurate and up to date, emails and telephone enquiries are attended to, and all relevant transport documentation is processed and filed correctly. This position would suit someone with 3+ years' experience in the transport industry who understands the terminology, processes and administrative requirements of a transport company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and process day-to-day transport administration.
• Work through and maintain transport paperwork and documentation.
• Capture and update trip information accurately.
• Check documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and follow up on PODs, delivery notes, trip sheets and other transport documentation.
• Respond to and manage incoming emails in a professional and timely manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and assist clients, drivers and suppliers with queries.
• Communicate with drivers regarding documentation, collections and deliveries.
• Liaise with clients, depots, terminals and suppliers as required.
• Follow up on outstanding paperwork and information.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure documents can be easily retrieved.
• Assist with general office and administrative duties.
• Assist the transport team with the coordination and administration of daily activities.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up accordingly.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines. REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the transport/logistics industry.
• Previous experience in a transport administration or controller role will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of the transport industry and its processes is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Good telephone and email communication skills.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with large volumes of paperwork and information.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible and professional.
