About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Professional Cleaner to enhance the guest experience at a hospitality establishment in Mossel Bay . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining immaculate cleanliness standards across guest rooms, common areas, and other specified locations. Your attention to detail and commitment to service excellence will be paramount in ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all visitors. This position requires a dedication to high standards and an understanding of the importance of presentation in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms to impeccable standards, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring bathrooms are spotless.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain common areas, such as lobbies, corridors, lounges, and restrooms.
- Respond to guest requests for housekeeping services or supplies promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the appropriate supervisor.
- Manage and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and kept in good working order.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hotel Housekeeper or professional cleaner, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards , and the use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.Reliability and punctuality are essential.
