A fast-growing logistics tech team is expanding its digital capabilities and looking for a hands-on Developer to own customer integrations and website maintenance. Youll work across APIs, webhooks, SFTP, and EDI to connect our systems with customer platforms - and keep our public and private web properties running smoothly.Youll collaborate with the Head of Technology and Solutions Architect, work in sprints, and be part of a team that values clean code, smart automation, and fast delivery.Why youll love it here:Hybrid work setup (South Africa-based)Work with modern stacks and integration toolsOwn your projects and see your impactCollaborate with a low-ego, high-output teamKey Responsibilities:Design and implement customer integrations using REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and file drops (SFTP/FTPS)Build and maintain company websites (marketing + customer portals), improving performance, accessibility, and SEOWrite SQL for reporting, validation, and troubleshooting; build monitoring and alerting for integrationsCollaborate across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions; document APIs, flows, and runbooksJob Experience and Skills Required:Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experienceExperience: 36+ years in software/integration development (mid to senior level)Skills:REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML/CSV/EDIOAuth2, JWT, API keys, mTLSServer-side: .NET (C#), Node.js/TypeScript, or PythonFront-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; React/Vue exposure a plusSQL (T-SQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis caching, pagination strategiesIntegration tooling: Postman, OpenAPI, SFTP automation, PGP pipelinesMessaging: RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka or similarDevOps: Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, observability toolsSecurity: OWASP Top 10, secrets management, secure data handlingNon-negotiables:Proven experience building and supporting integrationsStrong debugging and documentation skillsCalm under pressure and collaborative by natureApply now
