Receptionist

To succeed in this role, the individual must handle the key tasks listed below. This list is not exhaustive and may change as needed. The role may also include helping the supervisor or manager with other duties as required:
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.
- Take and pass on messages.
- Regularly test phone lines and report faults quickly.
- Handle customer complaints and queries, providing timely feedback
Reception Management
- Greet and direct visitors, suppliers, and customers at the reception.
Administrative Support
- Assist the Admin Department with daily tasks.
- Manage courier deliveries.
- Oversee meeting and training room bookings.
- Coordinate refreshments for meetings with housekeeping.
- Keep the company’s phone list updated and manage switchboard settings.
- Perform branch verifications.
- Provide support to the Creditors Department.
Key requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and environment, with exposure to general office administration tasks.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Kerridge software would be an advantage.
