Role Objective: To provide effective technical and specialist support to staff, whilst ensuring a high-quality service delivery to customers. Maximising service sales and profitability by creating customer confidence in the Dealership by providing quality service. Key Performance Areas: Manage and monitor labour sales and workshop profitability, and at all times conduct effective workshop planningPlan workshop production according to productive and available staffAttend to escalated workshop (technical) problems accordinglyEvaluate all serviced vehicles (technical) and assist in ordering partsMaintain good housekeeping within departmentManage training of all service staffProvide feedback to all workshop staff on individual performance against targetsControl (WIP) work in progress on all vehicles in the workshop daily to acceptable levelsManage risk (financial and non financial) within departmentManage and drive personal and professional developmentProvide efficient and effective internal communication Minimum Requirements: Senior Certificate (Grade 12)Qualified Motorcycle Technician5 Years Workshop experience in a Dealership as Technician.Supervisory/Foreman experience in a Workshop would be highly advantageous.The aptitude and competency to manage a team effectivelyValid motorcycle license Essential Competencies/Skills/Knowledge: Diagnostic Ability/SkillsWorking knowledge of i-vehiclesPlanning & OrganisingCustomer & Service OrientationLeading & Managing TeamsFollowing Instructions & ProceduresCoping with Pressure & Setbacks A competitive salary is offered plus an incentive scheme, as well as standard company benefits such as medical aid and provident fund contributions.
