The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and best suited to professionals who take initiative, work well under pressure, and are meticulous in their approach to compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety ComplianceDevelop and maintain site-specific safety filesConduct weekly site visits, toolbox talks, PPE and tool checksLiaise with client safety officers and attend audits, inductions, and safety meetingsEnsure all documentation (medicals, IDs, permits) is kept up to date for site staff and subcontractorsCoordinate medical bookings and transport in collaboration with internal teamsEngage with community labor coordinators where required, and manage compliance paperworkUpdate company safety policies and ensure full compliance per siteTool and Scaffold ManagementMaintain monthly tool inventory reports and verify with contract managersManage missing or broken tools reporting and escalationInspect and tag scaffolding on site and ensure proper documentationTrack and update scaffold stock by site and liaise with contract managers on discrepanciesCompliance and AdministrationProcess subcontractor applications and manage documentation for BIBC complianceRegister workers for BIBC numbers and assist with resolving non-complianceIssue ID cards for site personnel and ensure annual renewals of contractsSupport office despatch processes, document tracking, and registersWebsite and Office SupportCapture and upload photos of staff and projects to the company websiteUpdate website content and plugins as needed (technical support available if required)Security and Office SafetyLiaise with the body corporate regarding security and maintenanceManage security cameras and alarms, ensuring proper operation and incident responseCoordinate fire extinguisher servicing annually and keep first aid certifications validTrack and service web slings and other safety-critical equipmentGeneral SupportAttend weekly office meetings and provide project documentation as requiredAssist with internal and client events planning and supportRespond to additional ad-hoc requests from company leadershipMinimum RequirementsSACPCMP registration (not candidate level)Minimum 3 years relevant experience in construction or site-based safety rolesStrong knowledge of health and safety legislation and proceduresExcellent organizational and administrative skillsValid drivers licenseWillingness to travel for weekly site visits
