Loading raw materials into the machines
Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools into the machine
Adjust machine offsets to the desired product specifications
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on the machine
Completing quality control documentation during and after manufacturing
Cleaning and maintaining the machines
Training new staff on machine operation producers
Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures.
Performing daily safety checks and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards.
Use of various hand tools, equipment, and materials to complete, inspect, test, and clean mechanical instruments and/or implant assemblies and subassemblies.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

Matric
Qualified Toolmaker or Fitter and turner
Must read, speak and write English
Must have CAD experience
Fusion 360 experience would be an advantage Mechanical aptitude
Must have a valid drivers license and own transport
Reading and understand engineering drawings
Programme CNC Lathe and/or milling machines on Fusion 360Time management skills and the ability to work well in a team or with minimal supervision.

Available to work weekends and overtime
Able to work with fine tolerances +- 0.02
Experience machining Super alloys and Hardened materials
Experience on HAAS machines
Must have strong attention to detail
MIG, TIG and ARC welding experience would be an advantage
