REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric
  • Diploma in CAD Technologies (Mechanical, Multidisciplinary, or Architectural Draughting)
  • Additional coursework in MEP services or HVAC piping would be an advantage
  • 23+ years of experience in industrial design or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong spatial visualization skills; familiarity with SketchUp is advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create precise 2D and 3D piping layouts using software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Revit
  • Develop detailed plant room models, piping systems, and skid-mounted solutions
  • Produce P&IDs, isometric sketches, and tender drawings
  • Conduct site visits to produce accurate As-Built and As-Installed drawings
  • Resolve design conflicts during construction and commissioning phases
  • Assist in preparing technical drawings and maintaining comprehensive drawing registers
  • Coordinate services and identify clashes during BIM meetings
  • Standardize Revit families for refrigeration components
  • Manage drawing office tasks and represent the company in both internal and external BIM meetings
